Medica Solo provides benefits for prenatal care services to Minnesota members.

Medica Solo does not cover maternity care services, which include maternity labor and delivery services, and
post partum care services. Complications of pregnancy are covered for North Dakota and Wisconsin members.

You pay a $10 copayment for generic drugs. You pay 100% of the costs for preferred brand-name drugs, but you have access to Medica’s discounted rate.

Prescription Drug Coverage Option
You have the option to increase your prescription drug coverage to include preferred brand-name drugs and non-perferred drugs. Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin residents who choose this option will have a $50 preferred brand-name copay / $100 non-preferred copay.  South Dakota residents who choose this option will have a $40 preferred brand-name copay / $60 non-preferred copay.  Choosing this option increases your monthly rate.
